El Tepayac Cafe
812 N Evergreen Ave, Los Angeles, Montebello,
From a really mexican point of view, this is not defenitely Mexican food, you can fool the gringo, but not a Mexican, the food is oh-right but not the best, the prices are not that greart either. Some folks think that bigger is the best. To much sauce and tomato.

Lucille's Smokehouse Bar B Que
7411 E Carson St, Long Beach, Montebello,
Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ may be a good place to get a bite before/after a movie or something but its definitely not "one of the best BBQ" places in Los Angeles. Not even by a long shot. This chain restaurant has chain recipes that have purchasing departments buying in mass quantites for your mass consumption pleasure! If you want real home style BBQ (which is what REAL BBQ has always been), you need to get out and check out smaller, independent businesses that offer actual good BBQ. R&W off of Willow Ave. in Long Beach is a good neighborhood spot... not to mention a solid half-dozen places just up the street in Inglewood. If you thought Lucille's was good... you should see what real BBQ really taste like! And that wont be any gimmicky chain restaurant like this!

The pizza was by far the worst I have ever tried, you could literally go to the grocery store and have better pizza than this place.
